Bodman Quartet

The Bodman String Quartet was formed in 2021 at the Royal College of Music. Although at the beginning of their professional career, they have already developed an impressively broad repertoire for a young quartet that features twentieth century works in addition to core quartet repertoire.

Lucy Farrimond - Enchanting Serenades

Lucy Farrimond Soprano with Jack Redman on piano

Lucy Farrimond is a British lyric soprano who studied at the RNCM. At the age of 21, Lucy made her BBC Proms solo debut in Haydn's 'The Creation' at The Royal Albert Hall, with the 'BBC Philharmonic'; a performance which earned her a glowing review in ‘The Guardian’.  Lucy will be accompanied on the piano by Jack Redman.

Their programme will consist of a selection of Lieder by Franz Liszt and Clara Schuman and English Songs by Coates, Quilter, Vaughn Williams, Herbert and Novello.

The Bute Wind Quintet

Gabriella Alberti - flute, Sam Willsmore - oboe, Hannah Harding - bassoon, Nathan Barker - horn and Meg Davies - Clarinet.

The Bute Wind Quintet is an award-winning ensemble based in Cardiff. They are a group of young students and graduates from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Some of their members have already performed in Knighton as a quartet in February 2020.

They will be performing music by Mozart, James MacMillan, Otto Mortenson, Ross Edwards and others.
